Growing up in a rural, eastern North Carolina community, Samantha witnessed, firsthand, the impact of unequal access to healthcare. She is passionate about supporting underserved communities and believes that service experiences can be transformative for future healthcare professionals!

Samantha holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is working on her Masters in Social Work at East Carolina University. 

When she isn't working, you can find Samantha at the gym, hiking, or making baked goods for her friends and family.
